Ryanair Cheap Flights from £19.99
Looking for a cheap flight in Europe? Ryanair is an obvious (but worthwhile!) choice. Flights start from £19.99 each way - sometimes even less.
To get the lowest prices:
- Book early
- Be flexible with your dates and times (the more flexible you are, the better your chance of scoring a deal)
- Use the fare finder tool to score the lowest prices. There are some bargains - I've just found London to Barcelona for £35.98 return.
Ryanair have a bad reputation for hidden costs. Watch out for:
- Checked baggage. A pre-booked bag can cost anywhere from £15 - 20 (each way!), depending on the flight. This can push the overall of the price way up, so take it into account when comparing prices against other airlines.
- Always pre-book luggage. If you don't, you'll be charged on the day to take it on board (which can cost up to £75)
- Check-in online and remember to print your boarding pass. It's a must do - if you don't, check-in will cost a whopping £70 at the airport. A re-issued boarding pass costs £15.
It's recommended to pay by credit card if you're spending over £100, as you'll get extra protection covered by 'Section 75' of the Consumer Credit Act. But keep in mind that paying by credit card or PayPal will cost an extra 2% of the total transaction cost.
