You might have heard of wombling - getting free vouchers for supermarkets by picking up other peoples old receipts - but did you know you can now do it at KFC?

All you need to do is find any receipt for a purchase of £3+ from KFC, and enter it into the Colonel's Club app. There are likely to be unwanted receipts hanging around the restaurant - so keep your eyes peeled.

First of all set up a Colonel's Club account, and register it on the app for a free stamp.

Then log into your Colonel's Club account online or on the app, and go to 'My Account', then scroll to 'Add a Chicken Stamp'.

Enter all the information it asks for from your receipt within 7 days of the time of purchase.

You only need three stamps to get a reward, you'll get one just for registering on the app, then there's one stamp available for every purchase of £3+ and two for every £15+ spend.

Join the KFC Colonel's Club to earn free chicken every time you spend £3 in store.

At the moment this scheme is only running in selected locations (click 'Get Deal' to see which ones), but hopefully it'll roll out nationwide. You can either download the app from your app store, or pick up a card in participating restaurants.

The scheme seems pretty good to me, you only need to spend £3+ in three visits to get free popcorn chicken, beans, gravy or a drink, or £3+ in seven visits to get a free popcorn chicken snackbox, a streetwise wrap or a Krushem milkshake.

YUM.

*EDIT: we've got our card now and it seems even better, when you register it they automatically give you THREE free stamps, which means automatic free food. There are also exclusive deals that come with having a card, like a fillet or zinger burger meal for £3.

Want to know a sneaky way of getting 20% off your order at KFC?

• Firstly, either buy something (a 50p dip will do) or find a receipt hanging around the restaurant.
• Then follow the instructions on it to fill out a customer satisfaction survey online (do it on your phone quickly).
• Write down the unique number they'll give you on the site into the box provided on the receipt.
• Hand it to the cashier and make your order!

Head down to your nearest KFC branch every Friday and claim a free portion of fries!

KFC has got a brand new nationwide offer, every Tuesday you can get 9 pieces of chicken for £6.99! We've also heard you can add two sides for £2 extra in some stores, but we're yet to confirm it.

Remember to use your KFC loyalty card for free food after two purchases, too.

During February KFC are offering 2 free hot wings to all new sign ups to the Colonel Club's app. Just search on your app store to find it, and sign up with your email. The offer should appear on the app homepage for you.

Until Sun 26 Feb you can get a free regular size hot drink every day at KFC with the Colonel's Club app.

To get this offer just click 'Get Deal' to download the app and create an account, then just go in store and show them your barcode to get the freebie.

This offer works on all regular hot drinks except espresso, caramel or vanilla latte. Pretty good, right?

KFC have just introduced a tasty new deal. For £3, you can pick five items, with three of them being chicken.

For example, you'll get a mini fillet burger, popcorn chicken, drink, fries and a hot wing.

If you buy two meals, you can get it for £6 and then claim 20% off with an old KFC receipt (there are usually some laying around), making it £4.80 for 10 KFC items.
