Do I need to be a student to get these offers?

You do not need to be a student to get most of our offers on our site. However, in order to redeem some offers you will be required to verify your student status.

What is cashback?

Some retailers advertised on our site such as TopCashback and Quidco offer cashback on selected products or brands. Cashback sites simply give you back a percentage of your online spend once your purchase has been confirmed.

How do I search the site?

Search for a brand or product using the search bar at the top of any page on Student Money Saver and the site will filter accordingly.

What happens to the information I enter on the site?

We will not share your personal information with anyone else. We only use your email address to send you our weekly newsletter (containing the best deals of the week).


I've stopped receiving the weekly email, what do I do?

If you’ve suddenly stopped receiving our weekly newsletter, please first check it's not going into your spam or deleted items folder. If you are still having problems and are certain you’re not receiving our newsletter, please email and we'll try our best to solve the problem.

No. All parts of Student Money Saver are completely free to use.

Will my email address be used for advertising?

We only keep a record of your email address so we can send you the weekly newsletter.

How do I unsubscribe from the newsletter email?

Scroll down to the bottom of one of our weekly newsletters and click the "unsubscribe" link.

StudentConnect Verification

I've found my university, but after clicking the portal, I'm getting an error.

In this case, it is possible that something went wrong with that specific option. Please use the contact us form, briefly describing the error and the university portal the error was presented on, and we'll have our team look into and fix it as soon as possible.

Where do I find the verification email?

The verification email is sent to your academic email address, usually ending in or .edu. Check the junk and spam folders for the message, at times it can be found in there. Additionally you can request another verification link, after a few hours, using the form here.

I don't see it in any of those folders, has the email been dispatched?

If there is nothing in your inbox, junk or spam folder from us, then it is possible that the email has not been dispatched to you as yet. Give it a few minutes to process your sign up and send the email, then check again.
Also make sure that the email address you provided is the correct one issued by your academic institution or university.

I can't find my university in the list

If you can't find your university, please contact us using the form below and we'll have our team add it to our listing as soon as possible.

Why has my verification failed?

First, please make sure you have a valid account for the university portal, as the verification is dependant on if you are a registered student with the selected university.
Additionally, you may try signing in using your academic email address. If none of the above work please contact us with details about your issue and we'll have our team look into it.

How to verify using an NUS/NUS Extra card?

If you have a valid NUS or NUS Extra card please send us photos of you card (front and back) at quoting "NUS Card verification".
A member of our team, will create an account for you and send you the details.

Email is already in use

If you encounter this problem, then you probably already registered to the service with the current email address. If you have forgotten you password, click here in order to recover it.

My coupon isn't working

Some coupons for deals are not applicable store-wide, and are only for the specific products that the suppliers have on special. If this is not the case, feel free to drop us a message.
