Which country has the smartest graduates?
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development have released the league table for which countries graduates are more competent.
The figures are based on test results rather than reputation of the institution raises some questions as the results make for some surprising reading.
England are ranked eighth, one place ahead of USA. Both are beaten by Countries that charge considerably less than them for the education.
Japan came top, followed by Finland, Netherlands, Australia, Norway, Belgium and New Zealand.
Places such as Netherlands and Finland charge next to nothing for their higher education, and they have been producing more competent graduates than here, where the maximum yearly fee is approximately £9000.
But it was good news for particular Universities in England and USA, as they dominated the top 10 Unis list, with nine of the top 10 coming from the two countries.
