We’re looking for a talented, social media savvy digital content producer to join our team at an exciting time as we launch into the youth marketing business.

Applicants must be able to deliver eye-catching, relatable and shareable content with the potential for maximum viral engagement to a very tight deadline.

As part of this role you will:

  • Be responsible for finding, sourcing and creating digital content that supports our brand image
  • Stay up to speed with the latest social media and news trends
  • Understand our audience and how they respond to different styles of content, images, videos and articles
  • Work with other members of the content team to develop an effective strategy, both to produce the most shareable content, and grow our online presence

About you

You will be a social media guru and content creator, with the desire to get your work seen by millions of people a year. You will have a keen knowledge of a range of social media platforms, and what makes different audiences share certain posts.

You will be able to spot emerging social media trends, and understand how to capitalise on them to produce viral content.

You will have experience of working on or managing large scale social media pages on Facebook and Twitter, whether it's for personal use or running a page for a uni society or a company.


  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent, preferably in a creative subject
  • Experience of social media management, with emphasis on skills in growth, promotion and ideas creation
  • Understanding of digital and social media trends, with specific focus on what millennials want to read and share
  • Experience of managing, scheduling and prioritising content plans
  • Ability to either spot content with the potential to go viral, or generate your own original content for a social media audience
  • Experience of using Adobe Photoshop and/or After Effects or equivalent editing software
  • A great eye for imagery, videos and GIFs
  • Avid user of social media
  • Positive attitude to a start-up environment
  • A love of memes and a great sense of humour


  • Knowledge of content management systems (CMS)
  • Knowledge of basic HTML desirable
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of basic SEO principles
