Using Crayola coloured pencils as make-up? We're not sure about this...
You put the pencils in vodka for four minutes, which softens the pencils and makes them easy to apply to skin. Although Crayola is non-toxic (so it is ok-ish for kids to eat them), it really isn't recommend that you put them on your skin, especially near your eyes (you need those bad boys!).
Crayola is pretty unhappy about it - there's no rubbing out those lawsuits if it all goes wrong. It said, 'Although our products are nontoxic, we do not recommend using them to make lipstick, eyeliner or other make-up and strongly discourage their use in this manner. They are not designed, tested or approved for this purpose.'
We love a bargain, and know students struggle but don't think this is the best way to save cash. Do you agree? Would you risk it? Let us know in the comments.
