Top Gear's Clarkson, Hammond and May are back - and here's how you watch the show for free
Is Top Gear back? Well kind of… Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond will be presenting a new car show for Amazon Prime. The new show will be made available, worldwide in 2016. It’s going to go head-to-head with the BBC’s new version of Top Gear, which is going to be presented by Chris Evans.
Amazon Prime streaming service is a hefty £79-per-year, which is probably a too much for your standard student - not matter how much you love ‘the ladz’. If you’re a student smugly sat there thinking, ‘no worries, I’ll do that three month student Amazon Prime trial’, well… you can wipe that smug smile off your face because the streaming package isn’t included. However, we do have a one month trial available, so you between you and your housemates, you can probably get to see the whole series for free.
Amazon Prime Video EU vice-president Jay Marine said: “We can’t wait to see what Jeremy, Richard, James and the team will create in what is sure to be one of the most globally anticipated shows of 2016.” We’re not sure exactly what the trio will create, but probably a “fracas”! BOOM!
Anyway, we reckon it should be called ‘Top Gears’ or ‘Top Geezer’. It’s bound to do well, because if you don’t pay up, Clarkson might punch you.
