Theresa May asked Facebook what they thought of her plan. It didn't go well.

Theresa May outlined her 12 negotiating objectives for leaving the European Union on Tuesday.

It's had a mixed reaction from politicians...

But if 2016 taught us anything, it's that politicians are out of touch with the people anyway. So Theresa May took to Facebook to ask the people directly what they thought of her plans.

But that turned out to be a bad idea too.

Here was her post.

She liked her own post, just to get the ball rolling. Then she sat back and watched the hate pour in.

A lot of commenters seem annoyed with Brexit altogether, but others are just annoyed at the specifics, including lies during the Brexit campaign.

And the bus promise. And promises in general.

Other commenters were annoyed that she even asked the question at all, given that she won't listen to any of the (very angry) comments at all.

You can see the full post and many many many angry replies here.
