The Ultimate Uni Checklist

what to take to uni

So, you've just found out that you've got into uni, and now it's time to start getting ready to move in. We've come up with a list of everything you actually need for university, ready for you to print out and tick off.

First things first, the way you should go about completing this list is first to ask your friends and relatives whether they've got anything you could have.

You're definitely going to find that your Nan has just bought a new toaster and doesn't need her old one, or your next door neighbour has a frying pan they never use, and the more you save by begging and borrowing everything you need, the more you'll have to spend on Freshers week!

Then look online to get a vague idea of how much things cost, but we suggest going in store with your parents to avoid delivery costs (and they might offer to pay for it).

Good places to look include Argos, Wilko, The Range, Dunelm Mill, as well as big Tesco, ASDA, Morrisons or Sainsbury's stores.

With the supermarket section of the list it's best to go with the person who helped you move in to the shops and buy it on the day.

Is there anything we've missed?
