The internet goes in on Piers Morgan for justifying white people using the N word
There are some words that are just unspeakable. For white people, the N word is one of those.
There is no reason for anyone who isn't black to utter or print that word, regardless of if it's for demonstration of someone else saying it or if you have malicious intent.
That's not negotiable. Ever. But here Piers Morgan is to tell black people why they shouldn't be offended when white people use a word associated with slavery and segregation.
Let's me honest, he's a trash person. Every day he produces another piss-poor-Piers opinion. But, his recent column for the Daily Mail goes beyond an eye roll.
In what seems like a huge excuse for Morgan to gratuitously repeat the word in print, he's 'explained' that instead of white people using it, we should be annoyed at Kanye West for including it in his songs. Whaaa?
Don’t get angry about a bunch of white girls singing n***as, blame the rap industry for putting it in their songs https://t.co/VljFW0Uu9e pic.twitter.com/BMi70HB6r1

Piers, mate. Not to paraphrase my mum here, but if Kanye jumped off a bridge, not everyone is obliged to do the same. The reason Kanye can say it is because he's black.
Saying it louder for the people in the back: IF YOU'RE WHITE YOU DO NOT HAVE PERMISSION TO SAY THE N WORD. YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THE HURT AND CONNOTATIONS ASSOCIATED WITH IT.
Twitter echoed these statements, with some saying he's not qualified to speak on it, and others saying he went about it the complete wrong way.
How are you qualified to speak on this issue

I love me some Kanye but when reciting the lyrics I never feel the need to repeat a word that clearly isn’t yours to debate about

My goodness, Mr. Morgan, you are quite a butt-toad

Take this from a 58 year old Black American Woman. Do not tell me how to feel about ANYONE using that word. Stick to things you know.

Give it a rest Piers, you don't get a Blue Peter badge for trying to be edgy.
Stick to what you know... Although that might limit your job a bit too much.
