"Kelly Jones, will you marry me?"
The mum of two said she felt weak at the proposal when she was sat just a few rows from the from of the stage, but shouted "Yes!" to a round of applause from the audience and Redmond's fellow graduates.
The couple from Tonyrefail, met a party 10 years ago and have been together sever since.
Redmond and Kelly now have two sons together, Macsen Rees, aged four and Dylan Rees, aged two.
