This thread on 'unattractive' traits sparks online outrage

We should all know by now that women don't live their lives for the approval of men.

It seems that there's a few people who just didn't get the memo, though, and still love to tell women and girls what to do, wear, and act like.

A recent article on Whiskeyriff (which we can only decipher is a site for country music lovers and lowkey sexists) has highlighted this problem once again.

The article stemmed from a thread on the /askreddit subreddit, and speaks about the things that men find unattractive in a woman.

It definitely features some of the more choice responses from internet's male population, and is quite a head scratcher. So, you want us to look more natural, but when I come to work without makeup on, everyone asks if I've got the flu? Okay...

So for any women who need glasses, have large foreheads they wish to cover, are slim, or just like wearing makeup... Apparently you're not attractive?

The comments were as expected, and the piece has been shared over 17,000 times.

Here's what people had to say.

Our sentiments exactly.

*Goes off to get loads of tattoos, wear ALL the makeup, and get a fringe*.
