Did you notice the huge mistake in Sherlock on New Year's Day?
So, in case you missed it, Sherlock came back to our screens this holiday season, with an episode on New Year's Day.
It was generally well-received, so far scoring an 8.3 (out of 10) on IMDB, but in no way was it one of the better episodes, some have even reached near perfect scores (9.7).
Now, I won't spoil any of the plot for you guys, but I do know there was a glaring mistake in the new episode on the 1st.
Benedict Cumberbatch plays the titular character Sherlock Holmes, a highly intelligent detective who comes to conclusions based on observation and sound judgement. While Martin Freeman plays his trusted sidekick, Dr John Watson.
Holmes comes across as a bit of an arse, but he thinks everything through, everything is calculated. He is like a human supercomputer. And the show actually follows a story, unlike a certain older lady who apparently writes: someone dies, then everyone just talks a whole load of nothing, then finally at the end, she just says it was someone and then they admit it.
John Watson keeps an online blog, because this adaptation is set in the present day, and in this episode, Watson comes back to the house to put another post onto it. This is where the mistake makes an appearance, as pointed out by this twitter user:
Oh dear. They made Watson try to update his blog on a PICTURE!
Rookie mistake, John.
