Cadburies launch 3 new MASSIVE chocolate bars
Usually if you hear the word "Cadbury" on the news, it's about their chocolate bars getting smaller. Not so today. Cadburys are now in the news for making three MASSIVE new bars of chocolate.
The three new flavours of bars are the Triple Choc Sensation, the Oreo Crunch and Toffee Whole Nut. But if you want to try them, you're going to really have to commit, because these bars are an astonishing 300g each (try chowing that down if it turns out you don't like it).
For comparison, a standard bar of Cadburys milk chocolate is 40g, and the usual bigger bars are 200g. They also cost a pricey £3.49 each.
Cadburys were taken over by American company Kraft in 2010. Since then there have been some controversial changes, including changes in the recipe to the Cadbury's Creme Egg, which they then went and shrunk.
But now, in true American fashion, they've made some extremely massive chocolate bars and everything is forgiven.
And there's good news for triangle fans as well. The Triple Choc Sensation bar will come in triangular chunks, rather than the traditional square. Pythagoras fans everywhere will surely go crazy for this news, and celebrate the greatest victory for the isosceles since the pyramids.
The new flavours
Of the new flavours, Oreo Crunch is the most American. It contains authentic Oreo biscuit, as well as the vanilla creme filling. The Toffee Whole Nut is filled with toffee creme, caramel and hazelnuts, whilst the triple choc sensation is obviously the best, containing milk, dark and white chocolate.
