Amazon covers Zombie Apocalypse in T&Cs
You know how no-one reads T&Cs? You should (watch South Park’s HumancentiPad), because you can find some top corporate banter in there. #BusinessLADZ
Amazon has recently launched its new game engine, Lumberyard (a free tool for developers to make their own games). So if you look in its T&Cs, filled with loads of rules which ban developers using it in “life-critical or safety-critical systems, such as use in operation of medical equipment, automated transportation vehicles, aircraft or air traffic control, nuclear facilities, manned spacecraft or military use in connection with live combat”.
But to prove to the developers they have ‘chill’, they also added this (because all devs love zombies right?)
The T&C’s state that rules will be lifted in the event “of widespread viral infection transmitted via bites or contact with bodily fluids that causes human corpses to reanimate and seek to consume living human flesh, blood, brain or nerve tissue and is likely to result in the fall or organized civilization”
Are you alright Amazon? You know something we don’t? Or is it because the Walking Dead is out soon and will be trending. What a mystery!
