Since the dawn of time the Christmas jumper has had a pretty bad rep as that most embarrassing and hated of all your prezzies at Christmas. Revolting, hand knitted, decidedly 80s in styling (not the cool vintage kind of 80s) and made to be worn on one day of the year - what a con.
Or are they? Somewhat an ironic fashion statement they may be, but festive jumpers have had a makeover and they’re actually now quite cool (who knew?!). Just pop in to your nearest high street shop and you’ll see versions of the festive jumper everywhere and on every end of the scale - from cool ski-style fairisle and delicate snowflake style to the out-and-out Christmas pudding and Rudolph the red nosed Reindeer range.
Whilst the jury is out on how wearable these jolly knitted jumpers are, here are our favourites - all under £21.
Florence & Fred
Penguin Jumper - £18.00, eBay Polar Bear
Jumper - £9.99, Lavish Alice
Christmas Jumper - £21.00.
We know it looks a little dodgy buying from eBay but these are trusted sellers and the jumper is so pretty, it has to be worth it.
