Pedant corrects woman's grammar on Twitter, woman trolls him hilariously back

After a woman made a typo on Twitter, a pedant got in touch to check she knew the difference between "your" and "you're".

Timo Arthur, henceforth known as "The Pedant" contacted Claire McNear privately on Twitter to "have the conversation" about her poor grammar "privately".

A little patronised and all pedanted* out for the day, she decided to troll the guy.

She started by telling him that "your" and "you're" are synonyms, setting his pedantic mind on fire.

Then she told him it was fine, it was his mistake but that's ok because "language is weird".

With that, he was ready to leave the conversation there. But she wasn't. She decided to anger the American guy by claiming he was using colonial British rules.

With that, he gave up on correcting her grammar.

Other folk offered their support for Claire's trolling.

Within five minutes, other people corrected her on her grammar.

*we know 'pedanted' isn't a word.
