Come on guys, stop watching porn in McDonalds

McDonalds porn

Sure, everyone loves popping into their local Maccy D’s to pick up a Big Mac and watch some porn. Some of us do it weekly, others only do it after a heavy night out. But we do it.

And you know what, McDonald’s is not happy about this at all. Just because we have embraced the endless possibilities of technology and chosen to watch porn while demolishing a McFlurry, doesn’t mean you should. Especially when you’re streaming it using their free WIFI.

From now on, each McDonald’s restaurant is going to filter what you watch. Sure, if you wanted to to use your own 4G to watch porn, there’s nothing they can do about it - but it does make you a weirdo.

This all comes after the group were pressured by an internet safety group called ‘Enough is Enough’ who would like to see an end to anyone getting access to porn through public WIFI.

Donna Rice Hughes said: “We discovered that corporate America is not aware of how some people use their free WIFI.

“I’ve asked Starbucks employees whether they’ve had problems with customers in stores watching porn, and they’ve said yes, that they sometimes have to tap customers on the shoulder (to close a website).”

A McDonald’s spokeswoman said: “We are pleased to share that WIFI filtering has been activated in the majority of McDonald’s nearly 14,000 restaurants nationwide, improving upon the restaurant experience for our customers.”

The company has previously said it wasn’t aware of any pornography related incidents in its stores.
